In a move that proves the rule that one can't always trust a celebrity denial, Sandra Bullock married her long-time boyfriend, motorcycle builder Jesse James.

Late last month Bullock swore up and down that a story in Us Weekly reporting she was on the way to the altar was just plain wrong.

But lo and behold, Bullock was married before 300 family and friends at the Folded Hills Ranch in Solvang, Calif., this weekend, just as US Weekly said she would.


The nuptials reportedly had a "hoedown theme." Sandy wore white lace, guests were entertained by a country-western band and Jesse arrived in one of his extreme pickup trucks — which, as the host of Discovery Channel's "Monster Garage," he's known for.


This is the first marriage for Sandra and the third for Jesse.
